Relaxing little nook I photographed in our backyard a week ago. Sunlight was hitting the coral bells during the early evening, making them look like they were on fire.
I did most of it. We had landscapers put in the trees (Japanese Maple and Redbud) and the grass as well as the patio. They dug some of the beds (the hard part), and I had to dig more (I needed more space to plant). Some of the stuff was planted by seed and some by hand. It's my first experience with having a garden. I've loved every minute of it. It's so fun. Like art and science meshed together. I'm going to miss it after I move.
