elation

My meeting was awesome! Everyone was so supportive and gave very helpful suggestions. I gave a great talk (if I do say so myself). The committee was impressed with my progress and gave me the freedom to explore the project I'm so excited about. They also said I could defend in December without any more meetings! Yea! My P.I. is proud of me and happy with me, and it's the best feeling in the world. Lots of work to do between now and then but I'm fired up. Plus, I'm going to get balance back in my life again, even though I'll have to work at it.
