LOL! You have the trail of tears as a cool one.....sounds painful!!! But hell, to me they all sound painful! go on with your bad self, you should be proud to be able to do those!
Thank you! They motivate mem to keep a scheduled workout routine. Can't slack off or it will be PAINFUL on race day.
They all sound great!! and you are starting to sound like your old self some. I cant wait to run in my first one. It kind of gets me excited as I read through your choices.
I need to take the action to start planning to run one and just sign up. I think I have decided to do one next spring. I dont feel like I have trained enough (I am like you in the sense that I will probably be much better prepared than I will need to be). furthermore, I am having a procedure done on my heart in august...nothing major, but I want to make sure I heal up before I try to run anything.
Good luck choosing a race.
I hope your heart is okay! Take it slow and have fun with it. I like the races b/c they keep me excited about working out. I love "training" instead of simply "working out."
