My stomach is feeling better...as long as I don't eat anything. Oh, but then if my stomach gets empty, it hurts too. Guess I got to go to Longs and pick up some Acidophilus tablets so I can re-populate my gut with good bugs. Gross, huh? I'm so sick of being sick. Tomorrow, I have to go to the doctor and get anything serious ruled out. Of course, all this is happening during a time when I'm acutally super busy and can't really afford the time to do this! Ugh.

Hi, Rachel, hope you feel better soon! Take it easy coming back to training.
The bear was killed by overdose with a tranquilizer dart. Quick, painless except for the little sting, she sank into peaceful oblivion. Deer... well, shooting is quick; I just hate it when the hunter's aim is off and... well, you know. But it's better than getting eaten by a mountain lion or something. It's just not a perfect world :-(
I'm glad you're finally going to a doctor about this. It seems like a long time to be trying to figure it out on your own. I understand the temptation to deal with it at home, though. Sometimes all a doctor can do is prescribe something palliative and tell you to keep doing what you've been doing. But it sounds to me like you may be past that point.
I hope you post the quirks of your long-eared family! That would be fun!
Sounds like your having a bunny tummy issue....needing to populate with some good bacteria! I hope you feel better soon. That has got to be the worst feeling!
Acidowhat? I've never heard of that before.
Sorry to hear about your tummy. I hope it feels better soon!
glad to hear you're finally fighting that bug off. Love the carton of the month.
Wow that's a powerful bug! Hope you're back at it soon.
Hope you get better soon.
Sorry to hear about the bug attack.
Glad to hear you are getting better. I had a sick gut earlier this year and yeah it wasn't pretty.
Rachel- glad you are feeling better and that the Doc appt goes well....health issues..a BIG UGH!!
I hope that you get better soon! Long days in lab definitely don't help out sicknesses. Of course, my lab is crawling with nastiness because we study antimicrobial resistance. Sometimes I wish there was a shower on the way out the door :)
Thanks for all the positive comments. I'm sure I'll be 100% soon.
By the way, acidophilus tablets are probiotics. They contain live cultures (like yogurt) of the "good" bacteria in our gut that help fight off infections and digest our food. Gross, huh?
Jodi--I would become a total OCD nut working in your lab! I take a shower after leaving the lab every day as it is!
