I DID IT!!!

I am an Ironman!!!

Thank you SOOOO much everyone for all your support. I never felt alone out there. Yes, it was HOT (94 degrees) and, yes, we had unforeseen WIND (20 mph) but it made the victory of crossing that finish line all the more sweeter. I'm off to Atlanta now for a conference but will give a full in-depth race report (as always) when I return.

Entry Fee: $500
4-Night Hotel Stay: $600
Masters Swim Classes: $185
Bike Tune Up: $100
Crossing the Finish Line: Priceless

Finishing Time:
14:40:47
(not that it matters)

P.S. I will determine the winner of the lucky visor later this week. Thanks for playing!

I heard that 345 people DNF'd at IMAZ this year. Including 30% of the pros. You should be extra proud that you pulled it off under such tough conditions.

Sweet!!! I won't do that price breakdown for Ironman South Africa. If I see on paper how much it cost me, I might have to kill myself. Well, at least I'd be buried with an IRONMAN MEDAL around my neck!! Yeehaw!!! :)
