This guy called me "Mam" in the elevator. Just a note to you guys. Women like to be called "Miss" no matter what the age. Mam makes us feel old. I've been doing a lot of on-line shopping and taking it easy. Looking forward to the weekend. Trying to wake up before 10:30 a.m. What is wrong with me? I just want to lie on the rug with the bunnies and watch t.v.
Thanks for that tip. I have been using "mam" most of my life and always thought it would be appreciated.

ReplyDeleteI use "Mam"...but being from the real south (as opposed to Louisvile, which pretends to be southern), everyone uses "Mam" as a sign of respect...not to mention, as I am getting older :), most of the girls I say "Mam" to are younger than me anyway lol.
ReplyDeleteI know why guys use it. I know they don't think they're being rude. i'm just telling you what we think. So practice saying, M-I-S-S. It's not that hard. You'll get more smiles.
